Yum

Over the last two weeks I have dealt with inlaw visits, dance recitals, nasty e-mails from a former colleague, work crises, stress-induced insomnia, and a child with stomach flu.

Much nicer than all of that?

Homemade mozzarella on a pesto pizza.
The moment that I read this post at Liz's blog, I knew that I had to make some cheese. I ordered a mozzarella kit the very next day and it arrived less than 48 hours later. I couldn't wait to get started!

The verdict? Easy peasy. My first batch wasn't perfect but I know what to do differently next time. And the whole process took about a half hour.

(Unlike Liz, my pesto and my crust were not homemade. But I'm working on that for next time.)
