Quilt Raffle For A Good Cause

Some of you may have purchased yarn from Allison at Supercrafty, or perhaps you have read about her on Crazy Aunt Purl's blog. Allison's infant son, Evan, was born with a brain tumor and is scheduled to have surgery later this summer. Unfortunately, Allison has had to battle with her insurance companies to get the procedure covered. While it looks like they will now cover the surgery, they may not cover many of the related medical expenses (not to mention travel and other related costs).

Allison's friends, Frank and Joan, have made two beautiful quilts out of batik fabrics that they are raffling off to help with these expenses. You can read the details here. I'm thinking that one of those quilts would look lovely on the guest bed in my craft room; but maybe it would look better at your house?
