6yo (reading magazine while eating breakfast): Mama? Don't you think it's kind of mean that the female lions have to do all the hunting?
Me (distracted): Umm...yeah.
6yo: It's not fair. It's like they are the servants for the king of the jungle. But they are lions too, just like him.
Me (paying more attention): Right, that does seem unfair.
6yo: If I was a female lion, I would just stay home with the male lion and let the other lions do the hunting.
Me: You would?
6yo: Yeah. Well, no. Actually, I would tell all the other females to stay home, too, for like a year, while the males hunted. After that we could take turns.
