Ha! I bet you thought this would be a post about Rhinebeck, where I did indeed meet some (in)famous people. But no. On Sunday my husband and I took our girls to Sesame Street Live, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We also had tickets to a "meet and greet" prior to the show, where we met Bert and Ernie. Both girls were completely freaked out by this. Ah well. While the show itself wasn't that exciting for the grown-ups, the looks of wonder on our daughters' faces were worth every minute that we suffered through those larger than life muppets.
For me, the funniest part of the show was when they did a take-off on Riverdance, complete with dancing sheep in quilts.
Yes, I am easily amused.
